The i-phone

Yesterday, I was on here, checking out my blog and thinking about adding a new post, when my mom came into the room carrying a large bag. She smiles and says, "I have a surprise for you, a really big surprise." I walk across the room to get a closer look and she pulls out an i-phone. I was so excited that I spent the next half hour jumping around and calling various friends. I spent the rest of the night finding various free apps, I have yet to buy any songs but I have gotten several apps including the Pandora Radio and I have been using the You-Tube app very often. Well, that is all that I have to say for now, talk to you later.

Parlimentary Procedure And OOTM

Wow, it is almost time for the first competitions and they are all one week apart. First is Parliamentary Procedure, it will last about an hour and is on the 12th at my school. I need to finish memorizing the opening ceremony and all of the different things that you can do in a business meeting.

Next is OOTM, we have worked really hard on it up to this point and we recently got a new member on our team, one of my bff's: Lindsay Howard!!!!! We didn't really have a big part in this for her but she gets to be all of the random bystanders and the lunch lady. We have also been working on practicing for the spontaneous competition. This is where we are given something to do and we have to be . . . spontaneous! This competition is on the 19th

I hope that I do well in all of these competitions. I think that I will, we have all be practicing really hard and trying the best that we can. Wish us all luck. :)

Happy Birthday

I just wanted to say happy birthday to one of my BFF's, Kellyn. She turned 14 on the 28th. I hope you had a wonderful birthday, and now you can't say that I forgot about it. :)

Bubble Gum

Well, last night at church, the moment that I walked in, my friend, Kellyn, screamed "MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU PRESENT IS OVER THERE," and she pointed to a small bag in the corner. She made me go and open it in front of all of our friends that were there. So I reached into the bag, wrapped my fingers around the item, and pulled it out. It was a pound of bubble gum. It was obvious that she got it for me because I got my braces off, so we all had bubble gum at church last night.

A White Christmas

My parents and I were on our way back from going to see the new Harry Potter movie, when we looked out the windows to see the light covering of snow on the ground. it soon hit us that we were experiencing the first white Christmas, here in Georgia, since, like 1882, that was when my dad pointed out that this is the first white Christmas in 128 years. Amazing, miracles do happen every day, and I finally saw my first white Christmas.

Poopcicles

No, it's not a typo, I literally meant POOPcicles, it all started when my grandpa picked me up from school, and as usual I asked how his day was. The first thing he said was, "Great, but I had to spend the entire day outside in the cold picking up poopcicles." I laughed a little and he said, "Well, it's better than having to walk around out side picking up, fresh, hot steaming doggie doo doo." We then spent the entire ride home laughing about the word poopcicles.
